For anyone wishing to train their newly adopted or even already acclimated companion kitty, certain items are essential. The first of these items are pet carriers. If a cat owner wants to utilize one or more pet carriers as a way to work with his or her cat, some training will be useful, and ultimately, extremely helpful. For cats as for dogs, pet carriers can be a wonderful way of training the cat or dog not to go to the bathroom inside. Once the pet is inside one of the pet carriers, he or she learns that their “home” is whichever of the pet carriers which was selected and that the sacred space is to sleep in and possibly eat in. The pet carriers are not large enough to do much moving around in, thus, the dog or cat does not wish to go to the bathroom inside these types of pet carriers. There are some slight differences with cat carriers. For cats, the cat carriers are usually much smaller, and the cat carriers are normally meant for sleeping and for transportation. Some cat carriers are lined with soft fleece and fabric to make the kitty’s home comfortable and safe-feeling, especially for trips to the vet.
