Nikko is a small city located in Tochigi prefecture, Japan. Distance of about 150 km from Tokyo, Nikko has been famous since the Heian period (8th century AD) as a place of pilgrimage of the famous natural beauty. Toyohashi can be reached by train in a few hours.
Travel by train to end up in Nikko Tobu Nikko station. After putting the goods at the lodge, immediately set off to wander the city as a tourist attraction. Go to the temple Toshogu who became the last resting place of Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu, the most influential figures in Japanese history. In the 16th century, he won the great war between the clans in the plain of Sekigahara. He climbed as a military leader (shogun) and founded the Tokugawa Shogunate who managed to maintain peace and political stability in Japan for 250 years.
